HELP!

Okay, maybe I'm really screwed up or somthin', but will this not work fro 6.3.1.2..?

The files & code don't seem to have even a remote resemblence to what is shown that needs to be changed...

For which file or both? It is a very simple install and can be done from 6.1.0.4 (where I have it running) to 6.3.x that I am aware of.

Both... I do have a number of other hacks installed though.

Spell Check
PM Folders
News Fader
Hit Hack 2
Advanced UBB
and 1 or two other lessor hacks

Sorry, for the delay I completly over looked this forum as I do not have a copy of 6.3.x series of UBB.

This modification would not be effected by what you have to the best of my knowledge.

Are you still having problems? The only thing I can suggest that I just updated the directions for v6.4 and posted it in that forum and see if it is any closer.

I had some problems getting this script to work on 6.3.1.2

What I needed to do was to remove this line from the code that I should add.

$new_pms = &CheckForNewPMs($profile_number);

And after that it worked.

The error I got with that line included was that the Ultimatebb.cgi file couldnt get parsed.

I'm having a problem..everything works fine..except when I try to perform the login, it keeps telling me that I have an invalid login!?


[edit] never mind.. I just realised that it's case sensative when it comes to the login names. I couldn't enter kev but rather Kev [/edit]

Just the kind of thing I've been searching for. Had no problem installing it on 6.2.1, and runs just fine. I've been having some problems with one person lately, and now he's off using an AOL account to get past me. So this is another great tool in my arsenal.

Your most welcome Also it has already been ported to v6.4 and I am just waiting for someone to allow me to isntall it on a v6.5 system so I can confirm it works there although I beleive the changes between versions are minimal and should not effect it much if any.

Thge latest copy can be found in the 6.4-6.5 forums. You might want to grab the file as there are quite a few new features wwb95 added. All you need to do is replace the ubb_users.cgi file that is packaged with it.
